Beer Drenched Ball Players

24 August 2010 | 0 Comments

We had a great trip to the interior of B.C. Not as much disc golf as an average Freeflow trip, but the party in Revelstoke more than made up for it. A field stuffed with beer drenched ball players can sure make for a good time.  It was one of those occasions where everything  just seemed to fall into place. We were feeling good on stage and the sold out crowd was ready for anything we could throw at them. Even when the venues’ power was blown,  Jay was there to play a 10 minute guitar solo/ uber guitar riff medley to keep the people screaming. It was quite impressive to say the least (He’s still new to Freeflow, but man he’s made an impact already!).  We’re looking forward to getting back as soon as possible. Thanks again Revelstoke.

For the rest of the summer we’ll be doing a lot of writing, rehearsing and playing some shows close to home. We’re also doing an artist-in-residency in September and October at a small club in Vancouver called Falconetti’s to do some “live” rehearsals for our new material.

Looking forward to what sounds Freeflow will make next.

Peace.    FF

Can’t wait for the interior!

Here we are, almost summer time. Being in the van without air conditioning isn’t all that pleasant.  But at least we know it’s hot out. Traveling to the B.C. interior is one of our favorite trips to make. We hit as many lakes and throw as many rounds of disc golf as we can. Sometimes we play a little too much(almost). Last time Ryan pulled a muscle in his left arm, but he throw’s with my right….. huh? Never quite figured that one out.

We’re heading back into the mountains in July. It’s been way too long since we’ve been to Kelowna(playing at Cush July 29th). A dip in the Okanagan will be a must…….rain or shine. Golden is always fun(Rockwater July 30th) plus there is the coolest disc golf course a couple minutes south of Golden called the Infinity sports ranch. 30+ holes of the most creative golf you’ll ever play. And then off to Revelstoke to eat BBQ and play bocce. Our show will be for the Revelstoke Glacier Challenge. 150+ music loving, party crazed softball teams. If you’ve ever been there you know what we mean. The next morning is never an easy one.

If you see us this summer on the course or in the water come say hi, especially if you’re a massage therapist…….we’ll probably need your help.

Cheers.      Freeflow.

PEAK Performance wrap up……

2 December 2009 | 0 Comments

It has been quite a ride. Although, I guess it’s not really over yet. We have a couple more days here to get everything finalized and handed in to the judging committee. And we don’t find out the results until January. But…….

The PEAK Performance Project has been a truly amazing experience. Everything from the bootcamp in September to the Showcases in October/November and all the extra work that’s been put in to get the challenges finished.  We’ve worked hard, met a lot of great people and had a s__t load of fun. And it will all continue. We are going to take this kick-in-the-butt we’ve received and make 2010 one wicked year.  Look forward to new music which is just being wrapped up, tour announcements(there’s one in particular that we’re pretty excited about!) , video’s and many other surprises….

It’s just beginning….

Cheers. Freeflow.

Peak Performance Showcase ROCKED!

30 October 2009 | 0 Comments

Well……last night(Oct. 29th) it finally happened . Freeflow’s PEAK Performance Showcase at the Cellar Nightclub in downtown Vancouver. The place was full and the energy was high. Freeflow did their thing and got the people yelling and singing as well as moving and shaking. It wasn’t a perfect set by any means, but we had a great time. Thanks to all of you that came. Here are some highlights of the show.

But now that it’s done, it’s time to refocus. We have so much that needs to get done in the next few weeks. Not the least of which is to find a way to get more votes. If you haven’t voted yet, please do. If you have voted, thank you and could you get your friends to vote as well?(just thought I’d ask) We have some other zany idea’s too, but we’ll let you know about those soon enough. They’re going to be fun!

OK, time to get back at it……….

Cheers. Freeflow.
